Is this conference for site owners only or am I able able to bring team members?

Yes! Paid local team members that you would consider a part of your working/Executive team are welcome (no team members that are solely contributors, please) and we leave it up to you to decide if you’d like to bring your team members with to conference and to decide if they will be covering the cost of their team members’ travel, lodging and registration fees.

Should you choose to cover the costs to bring your local team members, and because most of our sister sites hire their team members as contractors, rather than employees, it’s important for us to note some important information as you make your plans to join us in Scottsdale at the Scott Resort this year.

Can I bring my partner or children to sessions?

We love your families and you are welcome to travel with them to enjoy the beautiful Scott Resort. That said, children and adults that are not registered will not be allowed in sessions. Nursing babies are allowed, but we do ask that you consider and respect the experience of other attendees and consider bringing along a partner, babysitter or friend to assist you so you can enjoy the full experience.

Are nursing babies allowed at conference?

Nursing babies are allowed, but we do ask that you consider and respect the experience of other attendees and consider bringing along a partner, babysitter or friend to assist you so you can enjoy the full experience.

Is there a hashtag?

Yes! For Sister Site Conference 2022 we will be using #SSCON22.

I'm coming along, but would love to try and find a roommate. Is that an option?

Great question! You can connect with other attendees about pairing up for rooms or rides from the airport in our event page in the CMC Sister Site Support Chat group on Facebook. Find the link to the event below.

Please keep in mind that local team members will only have access to the conference event page on Facebook if they are in the specific Facebook group noted above. Curious about getting your team looped into our resources? CLICK HERE.

What do attendees typically wear to Sister Site Conference?

This is completely up to you! We do find that most attendees dress business casual, but we want you to be as comfortable as possible so you can learn and soak up all of the information and tools that will come your way. Basically…be you, and be comfortable. If you learn best in business casual, go for it. If you learn best when wearing your favorite athleisure, we welcome that! We’re so excited to see you that we’re not too concerned with what you’ll be wearing, only that you feel ready to take it all in!

What should I pack for sessions?

iPads, tablets, laptops and most importantly CHARGERS!  As you can imagine, we will be BLOWING UP the social media airwaves for two days straight while in Orlando, so you will need 24-7 access to your gadgets!  Don’t forget your chargers, so you can stay connected at all times!

Is my ticket transferrable? I registered and now can't attend.

Tickets are transferable through April 15th, 2022, with notification to the Conference Committee. In the instance of a ticket transfer, attendees are responsible for canceling room reservations and transferring conference registration tickets. If you need to transfer your ticket, please use the form at the bottom of the leadership team page.
