Interested in Speaking or Presenting at Sister Site Conference 2022?

Do you have expertise to share?

If you’re interested in speaking or presenting at the 2022 City Mom Collective Sister Site Conference, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for presentations that speak to one the main business focus areas that our local Sister Sites uses to enhance and grow their businesses:

  • Business Management
  • Sales & Sponsorship
  • Readership & Content
  • Social Media & Marketing
  • Team Management
  • Event Planning

If there is an aspect of your business that you are passionate about, and you have expertise to share, we’re welcoming YOUR submissions for this year’s conference sessions!

One of the greatest strengths of City Mom Collective is found in the collaborative nature of the community within those that own and help run our local sites. If you’re excited to share your experience and what works within your community, we welcome you to read our presentation guidelines and fill out the application below.

Presenter Submission Guidelines and Details:

When it comes to speaking opportunities for the Sister Site Conference, we’d love to hear YOUR ideas! Our main focus will be traditional presentations with Q&A, workshop sessions and panel discussions.

Types of Presentations:

  • Traditional Presentation with Q&A for Attendees | The style of these sessions have one of the following themes:
    • Best Practices or How-To on a particular topic.
    • Executive Thought Leadership: Session leader would provide experiential insight to support the main theme or topic. Thought leader insight is critical to the best business approach —lending examples and support to highlight best practices.
    • Case Study Style: Speaker would highlight specific examples that detail a problem, process and solution with concrete steps and strategies.
  • Roundtable Discussion Topics | We’re bringing back the popular Round Table Discussions from past conferences. In these Roundtables, facilitators will deliver 10-15 minute presentations related within one of the business focus areas (listed above). Workshops should be interactive and engaging, with an emphasis on providing toolkits and/or action planning. These brief presentations should highlight key takeaways and action items, and participants should walk away with something that is actionable as a result.

Speaker Proposals/Submissions:

We are excited to continue the newer format of our session creation and hear your ideas come through. While we won’t be able to take every session submission for this year’s conference, we may follow up later and request that you share your insight as a resource article. We will respond to all speaker applications by mid-August.

By submitting the application with the materials, you are committing to, upon request to present, attending Sister Site Conference 2022 at The Scott Resort in Scottsdale, AZ, June 10-11, 2022, in addition to submitting the remaining materials noted below no later than Friday, April 29th, 2022.

Presenters do not receive an honorarium or professional fee for their presentations, and will not be reimbursed for expenses unless otherwise notified; however, speakers will receive a discount on their registration fee for the conference if they are selected to speak. To apply to speak at Sister Site Conference 2022, you’ll need to prepare the following:

  • Presentation Title
  • Presentation Description | What can attendees expect to take away from your session? Please include a one to two-sentence description of your session.

If you are asked to share your presentation at the conference, this outline can be expanded into the PowerPoint presentation you’ll need to prepare in the coming months.
